Events Committee Update
Hello Westgate families! Thank you to all who joined us for our August events – Boo-hoo/Woo-hoo Breakfast and Red Robin Spirit Night. Check out what we have planned coming up!
Upcoming Events:
- Tuesday, Aug 26: Skate City Spirit Night – FREE PIZZA FOR ALL!

- 5:00-7:00 PM
- 200 W 121st Ave, Westminster.
- Join us for a full-filled private event just for Westgate families and friends! $7 admission fee/skater and $5 skate rental (if needed.) $5 meal deals also available. Lace up those skates and let’s roll!
- September 9-12: Spirit Week
Get ready for a week full of fun, creativity, and Westgate pride! Join us in celebrating Spirit Week with these exciting daily themes:

- Monday, Sept 9th – Rainbow Day – Brighten up the halls by wearing your favorite color or go all out and wear the whole rainbow!
- Tuesday, Sept 10th – Crazy Hat/Hair Day – Let your imagination run wild! Sport your silliest hat, wildest hairstyle, or both!
- Wednesday, Sept 11th – Westgate Wednesday – Represent your pod with pride! Wear your Westgate gear or your pod’s color. Kinder – purple, 1/2 – red, 3/4 – green, 5/6 – blue, 7/8 – gray, HS – black
- Thursday, Sept 12th – Throwback Thursday – Flashback to your favorite decade - think tie-dye, neon, overalls, or retro vibes!
- Friday, Sept 13th – Pajama Day – End the week in ultimate comfort. Rock your coziest pajamas (school-appropriate, of course)!
- Tuesday, September 9th: Events Committee Meeting

Skip carline! Join us to plan upcoming school events, brainstorm new events, and get involved in our community. All are welcome - please make sure to check in with Candice at the front desk. At 3:30, your students will be called down to the front desk, and you can leave with them.
Thursday, Sept 18: Parry’s Pizza Spirit Night Fundraiser
- 4:00-9:00pm
- 100 E 120th Ave, Northglenn.
Order your dinner at Parry’s and Westgate will receive 20% of your sale. Make sure to mention Westgate or show our flyer. If ordering online, make sure to mention Westgate when picking up your order.

- Friday, September 26: Westgate Let’s Gogh Fun Run benefiting the art program
- September 29 – October 2: Elementary Scholastic Book Fair
- October 24: Westgate Trunk or Treat
Ongoing Fundraising Spotlight:
KING SOOPERS
Our best AND easiest fundraiser!
After choosing Westgate as your charity of choice on your King Soopers card, all you have to do is shop! It's really that easy. Your family and friends in any state with stores that are part of the Kroger Family of Companies can do it too.
Here's how it works:
- Go to http://www.kingsoopers.com or click here if your Kroger Family of Companies is not a King Soopers.
- Sign in to your account. (If you do not have an account, you will need to set this up first.)
- Be sure to have your King Soopers Loyalty card available with you. (If you don't have a loyalty card, stop by any customer service desk to get one.)
- At the top choose "savings & rewards" - go to "King Soopers Community and Rewards Program"
- Choose "enroll now"
- In search box - put in either Westgate Community School either by name or CN908
- Your loyalty card will now be linked with Westgate's account number. (If you and your spouse/partner use the same loyalty card number you only need to sign up once. All cards will be linked.)
We receive several thousand dollars per year from this program. Thanks for choosing Westgate!
