Students will be able to define and discuss chemical properties of matter. 

Students will be able to differentiate between physical and chemical properties of matter.

They will be able to identify and define the following properties, which can be observed using the 5 senses: color, texture, odor, luster, clarity, hardness, malleability, and ductility. 

Students will be able to describe the movement of atoms in the different states of matter: solid, liquid, and gas.
