Hi there! My 7/8 art class is going to be working on paper mache animal heads. If anyone has spare newspaper, masking tape, wire hangers or floral wire they would like to bring in, I would appreciate it. đ
The students are going to be finishing up their paper mache donut.
The students are going to be creating an identity grid by filling in each square of their grid with something that represents them.
The students are creating a watercolor painting depicting a word or phrase pouring out of a watercolor tube.
The students will be finishing up their flashlight project illustration. After learning about Lizi Boyd and the book âFlashlightâ they created their own short story and illustrated their story.
The students are learning about Lizi Boydâs flashlight book and her style illustration. They are then going to create a short story in which they will illustrate on their flashlight drawing.
The students are working on their self-expression identity grid.
The students are creating an identity grid with a ruler and filling in each square with something they like or represents them. On Halloween, we will be painting with neon paint and I will be lighting up the art room with black lights.
The students are finishing up their Jen Aranyi watercolor which includes positive and negative space. They are then going to be drawing a watercolor painting of a watercolor tube.
The students are learning about Jen Aranyiâs watercolor artwork. They will also be learning about Positive and Negative space and how to incorporate that into their watercolor.
The students will be finishing up their identity grid. It is a representation of themselves in the form of a grid.
The students will be finishing up their flashlight drawing inspired by Lizi Boydâs flashlight illustrations. Then they will be creating their identity grid which allows them to express themselves.
