Dewar's Social Studies- 2/3- 2/7

  • Unit 3: Native American Indians- everything is found on OneNote!
  • Please look over due dates for the quarter!

  • This week is the end of the Eastern Woodlands region of Native American Indians
  • Thursday thing- Project Based Learning time! 
    • Driving Question: How can we use data to tell a local story that will inform and motivate community members to action?
    • Final Product: Students produce and present a TED talk-style presentation, that tells a compelling data-based story about a high-needs community issue that needs attention. 
    • Last week students each picked their own specific problem to begin researching
    • This week we research data so that we can come up with a possible solution
