3rd Grade Language Arts- Week of 9/23/19

Last week students worked hard on close reading Nasreen's Secret School. They also found evidence to answer questions and wrote their answers in complete sentences while restating the question in their answer.

This week, we only have 3 days of school due to conferences. Even though our time is short, we will continue to work hard. As such, students will be writing a paragraph answering the question, "What does Nasreen want in the story Nasreen's Secret School? In your answer, explain why she wants this." Paragraphs will be due on Wednesday and shared with families at conferences on Thursday and Friday.

details are important, and why? How are students in that school like you?
How are they different?
