Hello! This week we will be talking about the essential components of the forest biomes, the grassland biomes, and the tundra biome. We will also be discussing what biome Colorado is located in.

Hello! This week we will be starting our Biomes unit. In this unit, we will be exploring the different levels of an ecosystem, the different biomes around the world, and what plants and animals inhabit those environments.
Gale's Science 9/4/18
Hello! This week we will be talking about how a substance can be both a solid and a liquid, the different properties different gas, how a solid can change into a liquid, and how a liquid can change into a gas. Tuesday we will be performing an experiment with Oobleck. It is quite messy so make sure your student doesn't come in their finest of clothes!
Gale's Science 8-27-18
We have started our State of Matter Unit. In this unit, we will be defining matter and exploring the different objects made of matter. We will also be conducting experiments with the 3 states of matter and observing their properties.
Week 1 of Science
Hello!
I am excited to begin science with your students on Monday, 8/20. Your student will be working on science in my classroom from 12:45 to 1:45 for the next few weeks. In this first week, we will be getting to know each other a little bit, discussing who scientists are, talking about the scientific method, and starting to think about the different states of matter.
