Welcome to quarter 4! This week kinder will have a re-introduction to tech and start our coding unit!
March 11th - 20th
This week Kinder will be working in ABCYA. Students will log themselves into their accounts and navigate to ABCYA through Google Chrome. I will be gone the 12th through the 18th and all resources needed are posted below.
Tuesday the 12th: students will complete Keyboard Zoo http://www.abcya.com/keyboarding_practice.htm and then they may navigate to other learning games in ABCYA when completed.
Wednesday the 13th: students will build a pizza http://www.abcya.com/pizza.htm with ingredients listed by the substitute teacher. Once the are done they may navigate to other learning games in ABCYA.
Thursday the 14th: students will complete Keyboard Zoo http://www.abcya.com/keyboarding_practice.htm and then they may navigate to other learning games in ABCYA when completed.
Friday the 15th: Student will build a house http://www.abcya.com/build_a_house.htm and then navigate to other learning games once their house is complete.
Monday the 18th: students will complete Keyboard Zoo http://www.abcya.com/keyboarding_practice.htm and then they may navigate to other learning games in ABCYA when completed.
March 4 - 8
This week kinder will continue working on block coding with code.org!
February 25 - March 1
This week Kinder will begin logging themselves into their personal accounts on their desktops and learn the home row keys on a QWERTY keyboard.
February 19 - 22
