Welcome to quarter 4! This week 1-2 will work through various problem solving activities before we start our coding unit! 

This week 1-2 will be working with typing and code.org I will be gone the 12th-18th and all resources needed while I am away are posted below. 

 

Tuesday the 12th: students will begin with a 15 minute typing warm up on www.typing.com Once students are done they will go to ABCYA paint http://www.abcya.com/abcya_paint.htm and create a house. After your house is created please show the sub and you may navigate to other learning games in ABCYA. 

 

Wednesday the 13th: students will begin with a 15 minute typing warm up on www.typing.com Once students are done they will go to ABCYA pixel art http://www.abcya.com/pixel_art.htm and create a maze. Students must draw a simple maze that has an entrance and an exit. After your maze is complete you must show the sub and you may navigate to other learning games in ABCYA. 

 

Thursday the 14th: students will begin with a 15 minute typing warm up on www.typing.com Once students are done they will go to ABCYA make a robot http://www.abcya.com/make_a_robot.htm. When your robot is complete please show the sub and you may navigate to other learning games in ABCYA. 

 

Friday the 15th: students will begin with a 15 minute typing warm up on www.typing.com Once you are done you may go to ABCYA and play learning games. 

 

Monday the 18th: students will begin with a 15 minute typing warm up on www.typing.com Once you are done you will go to ABCYA make a face http://www.abcya.com/make_a_face.htm. When your face is done please show the sub and you may navigate to other learning games in ABCYA. See you tomorrow!
