MAPS Testing: Our math NWEA Maps test was administered last Wednesday, August 19 at 8:15 AM.   

This week, we are sending home the attached i-Ready Family Letter for Lesson 2: Mental Math Strategies for Subtraction. To view the attachment, click here- it's a hyperlink that will take you to the PDF of the family letter.

In class, students are learning several mental math strategies to solve subtraction problems, including counting on, making a ten, and using fact families. The family letter explains these strategies with examples and includes a fun at-home game that you can play together to reinforce your child's learning. We encourage you to take a few minutes to review the letter and complete the activity with your child.
