Hello 7th Grade Families!

 

This week in 7th grade math, we're going to be jumping into graphing proportional relationships! Homework will be assigned in class on Monday, and will be due at the beginning of class on Friday, 8/28.

 

Students were notified, but please remind them that their first mid-unit quiz is going to be on Tuesday, 8/25 - it will cover lessons 1, 2 and 3 only. Students will be given the first 15 minutes of class to review notes, then the remainder of class to take their quiz. 

 

If you'd like to know more about what your student will be learning in math this year, make sure to RSVP to our Parent Info Night, happening on Tuesday, 8/25 from 5:15-6:15pm in the 7/8 POD!

Hello 7th Grade Families!

 

I apologize for my lack of posting last week - still trying to get all of this Edlio stuff figured out :) This week in 7th grade math, we're going to be continuing our work on calculating unit rates and recognizing proportional relationships. Homework will be assigned in class on Monday, and will be due at the beginning of class next Monday, 8/24, due to an alternate schedule on Friday.

MAPS testing is also coming up this week on Thursday and Friday! As a new-to-Westgate teacher, I'm super excited to see where students' Fall MAPS starting scores are!! I hope you have a great week, and please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!
