Week of 8/24/26
Hello 8th Grade Families!
This week in 8th grade math, we're going to be continuing our work with sequences of rigid transformations in the coordinate plane. Homework will be assigned in class on Monday, and will be due at the beginning of class on Friday, 8/28.
Students were notified, but please remind them that their "Unit 1 - Geometric Figures Part 1" Test is on Thursday, 8/27 - it will cover the entirety of Unit 1 (everything we've done up until this point). Students will be given the entire class period to complete their test. A study guide will be sent home in the homework packet: this is optional, but highly encouraged. If the study guide is completed, students can earn up to 5 points of extra credit on their test!
On Friday, we will begin "Unit 2 - Geometric Figures Part 2" with Dilations & Similarity.
Quiz #1 corrections are due by Monday, 8/31 for half-credit back.
Test #1 corrections will be due by Tuesday, 9/8 for half-credit back.
