Mr. Vega, Mathematical Problem Solving

This course will be taught as an elective during the first semester of the 25/26 school year.

 

This course is designed to enhance students' critical thinking, logical reasoning, and creative problem-solving skills through engaging and challenging mathematical tasks. Emphasizing strategic thinking over rote computation, students will explore a wide range of problem solving techniques and strategies when solving problems. The course encourages multiple solution strategies, effective communication of mathematical ideas, and perseverance in the face of complex challenges.
