Hello families,
We are beginning an exciting, hands-on classroom project inspired by Shark Tank! Students will be creating their own business idea and learning how products and services are developed, priced, and presented. Then students will write a sales pitch and present that in front of a panel of "Sharks."
Throughout this project, students will:
- Design a product or service
- Calculate the cost to create it (materials, labor, and startup costs)
- Determine a selling price and potential profit
- Write a pitch to the panel of "Sharks"
- Present their product and their pitch to the class
This project focuses on real-world skills such as problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and writing.
