What are we doing?
Rounding numbers to tens and hundreds and we will be working on rounding and then adding and subtracting numbers. We will be reviewing on Thursday and Friday we will be taking the Chapter 7 test. Students have been very successful during this chapter, but I am attaching a review of what they can do to practice at home.
What are we doing?
Using a multiplication chart and practicing that, review, Test on Chapter 5 on Wednesday. Then we will start chapter 6 on Thursday- relating area to multiplication.

Cumulative review for chapter 1-4, small test on this on Wednesday (this will be to see where they are at with what we have learned in chapter 1-4). Start Chapter 5- patterns in a multiplication chart and how to use one

What can I do at home? Keep practicing multiplication facts, specifically 6,7,8, and 9’s
For math we will be starting on division! We will be doing Chapter 4 lessons 1-7. We will be combining some of the lessons since they will not take long. In these lessons we will be working with arrays, fact families, dividing by 2,5,10,3,4,6,7,8,9,1, and 0.
We will also be starting our math centers this week and I will be working with small groups.
What are we doing?
We will be working on multiplying 3 factors and word problems this week.
We will have our chapter 3 Math test on Thursday, I will send home an optional review. This review is the exact same as the test we will be taking but the test will have different numbers.

Multiply 6,7,8,9, and multiplying 3 facts
What are we doing this week?
We will be finishing up chapter 2, doing a review game on Wednesday and Thursday. Friday will be our chapter 2 test.
What are we doing this week?
Students will be focusing on multiplying by 10,1, and 0 since we were unable to get to it last week. We will also be learning about the distributive property and doing multiplication work problems.

Finishing up chapter 1, multiplication and division. Wednesday will be the chapter 1 test; I will send a review sheet home on Tuesday.
We will start Ch. 2 this week, we will work on focusing on multiply by 2,5,10, 0, or 1
Monday: Chapter 1 Pre Test
Tuesday: Multiplication using equal groups and number lines
Wednesday: Multiplication arrays and communicative property
Thursday: Division equal groups
Friday: MAPS Testing for Math
