Hi All! To round out our first quarter, our class will be furthering their understanding of linear equations and functions as well as an introduction of how to graph them. We will be leaving this chapter open over break so as to pick it up when we get back.  As it is the last week of the quarter, please make sure that your students return any borrowed textbooks to class. I will be reminding them throughout the week as well. 

Hi All! This week, Algebra will be closing out or second chapter! This chapter has so far covered the solving of various equations & inequalities and we will proceed on to chapter 3 at the end of the week, in which students will begin to encounter the coordinate plane as well as how to graph equations there in. Additionally, our grading window comes to a close on this coming Friday, as such we are asking that our students have all late/missing work turned in by this coming Wednesday to give ample time to enter grades. 

Hi All! During this fifth week of the school year, our 8th grade algebra class will be taking on the first four sections of the second chapter of our book. This will cover various methods for solving inequalities which our students will need as a basis for greater algebraic concepts which will follow later in the year.
