Week 2/26

This whole week we will be finishing up our Science experiments and starting our posters. I will be providing the tri-folds but any decorations for it, you will need to provide on their own. 
 
Science Fair is March 5th 

Week of 2/19

Monday: NO SCHOOL PRESIDENTS DAY 

Tuesday: Students should bring in materials for the science fair, we will be starting and doing our experiments this week 

I will provide plastic wear (plates cups, bowls, measuring cups, measuring spoons, and measuring tape) but any food or drinks must be brought from home  

Wednesday: Experiments ongoing 

Thursday: Experiments ongoing  

Friday: Experiments on going  

Week of 1/29

Monday: Lesson 6- Beaks  

Tuesday: Review for quiz on lessons 1-6  

Wednesday: Quiz on Lessons 1-6 (we will be taking the quiz online)  

Thursday: Start talking about the Science Fair (it will be within the first week of March)  

Friday: Fill out science fait questionnaire  

Week of 1/8

Monday: Look at new unit, Plant and Animal Structure Introduction  

Tuesday: Lesson 1 Cells and Tissue, how are cells and tissues related in living things? 

Wednesday: Use the choice board provided to pick a way to show your understanding of cells  

Thursday: Lesson 2 Organ Systems, how do human body systems work together? 

Friday: Human body systems matching/sorting activity on your own and then students will do a table activity on human system  

Week of 12/4

Monday: finish Morse code poster and go around and solve each other's morse code  

Tuesday: Chapter 4 lesson 12  

Wednesday: Review for test with jeopardy  

Thursday: Ms. Papiernik will be gone all day, Ms. Terry will be the sub, review packet for test with a partner 

Friday: Start going over the steps of the scientific method

Monday: Lesson 7- How do we hear sound? 

Tuesday: Lesson 8- What is light? 

Wednesday: Activity- cups and string to communicate  

Thursday: Jeopardy game reviewing all science we have been learning!  

Friday: NO SCHOOL
