I will send home a lengthy review but it is not homework and is good for extra practice

Tuesday: 10.5- Fractions on a number line more than 1

Monday: Chapter 8 review, test will be on addition and subtraction of multi digit numbers with regrouping 
 
Tuesday: Chapter 8 Test ( I will be making the test) 
 
Wednesday: Chapter 9 pretest 
 
Thursday: Start Chapter 9, multiply by multiples of ten ( Example 30x3) 
 
Friday: continue working on multiplying by multiples of ten

Monday: NO SCHOOL PRESIDENTS DAY 

Tuesday: Chapter 8 subtracting 3-digit numbers with regrouping  

Wednesday: Chapter 8 subtracting 3-digit numbers with regrouping 

Thursday: Chapter 8 subtracting 3-digit numbers with regrouping 

Friday: Chapter 8 subtracting 3-digit numbers with regrouping 

There will be a test next Tuesday on chapter 8, 3-digit addition and 3-digit subtraction. We will be doing an online test again.  

Week of 1/29

Monday: Chapter 7 Lesson 5- Rounding differences 

Tuesday: Review in class for Chapter 7 Test on Rounding tens and hundreds  

Wednesday: Chapter 7 Test, we are trying a new way of taking the test online  

Thursday: Chapter 8 Pre-Test, on the computer aging (pre-tests are never a grade)  

Friday: Chapter 8 Lesson 1 Identify Addition Properties

*Make sure you are working on 2’s and 3’s fluency with multiplication  

Monday: Ch. 6 Lesson 1 Understanding area  

Tuesday: Ch. 6. Lesson 2 measure area using standard units 

Wednesday: Chapter 6 Lesson 3 find area by multiplying  

Thursday: Chapter 6 Lesson 4 Area and distributive property  

Friday: chapter 6 Lesson 5 Find Area of more shapes  

*Chapter 6 Test will be on Wednesday next week, a review will be sent home on Friday 

Week of 12/4

Monday: 4.8 and 4.9 Division strategies and division word problems  

Tuesday: review for chapter 4 test with a game, review is sent home for practice only, not homework  

Wednesday: chapter 4 test  

Thursday: Ms. Papiernik will be gone all day; Ms. Terry will be the sub. Students will be partner working on reviewing what we have been learning (multiplication and division)  

Friday: MAPS testing for Math

Monday: Lesson 8- multiplying 3 numbers 

Tuesday: Lesson 9- Multiplication and multi-step word problems 

Wednesday: Review game for test, I will send home a review sheet that is not homework but will help them on the test 

Thursday: Chapter 3 test- on multiplication  

Friday: NO SCHOOL

Monday: Chapter 3 Pre-Test  

Tuesday: 3.1 multiply by 3  

Wednesday: 3.2 Multiply by 4 / math games for understanding  

Thursday: 3.3 Multiply by 6 

Friday: 3.4 Multiply by 7 / math games for understanding  

Week of 9/25

Practice math facts with students, we are on multiplication now but addition and subtraction review is always helpful  

Monday:  reviewing multiplication strategies with hands on activities  

Tuesday:  Field Trip 

Wednesday:  2.3 multiply by 10  

Thursday: 2.4 multiply by 0 or 1  

Friday:   2.5 distributive property to multiply. 

Week of 9/11

Monday: I will be out of town; I have a substitute. Students will be working on reviewing things we have been working on. There will be a chapter 1 test on Friday.  

Tuesday: Starting rocket math with subtraction, this will help with memorization of facts, do lesson 

Wednesday: Rocket math and then Ch. 1 Lesson 6 Divide numbers of equal groups. A short review will be sent home, it is not homework  

Thursday: 1.7 Number lines to divide, continue working on review at home for practice  

Friday: chapter 1 Test
