Social Studies Week of October 23rd

This week and next week we will be exploring a Social Studies unit all about Maps! This week, we will be learning how to use maps, identify features on maps, such as the compass and symbols, and why they are helpful.

Science Week of October 16th

This week we will be exploring the importance of keeping our teeth clean and how to have healthy oral hygiene. We will examine the best way to use our toothbrushes and how to use floss.

Science Week of September 25th

We will begin a brand new series in science! For this week and the week after fall break, we will discuss, test experiments, and learn about our health! From germs to how to keep ourselves hygienic, we will explore what it means to keep our bodies healthy.

Week of Sept. 11th (Social Studies)

Hello Families,
For the next two weeks we will be learning about rules during social studies. During the first week, we will define rules/laws, why rules are necessary, who makes rules, and discuss fairness/equity. On week two, we will discuss responsibility, honesty, courage, respect, and our class rules. 

Week of Sept. 4

We are going to continue to dive into weather this week! We will start off with a cloud scavenger hunt, where students will identify different clouds (cumulus, cirrus, stratus, cumulonimbus) and look for them in the sky. Then, we will dive into weather that is linked to a pattern and begin our discussion on seasons! On Friday, we will have our weather post-test

Week of August 28th

Hello Families, 
For the next two weeks we will be learning about weather and seasons. We will keep adding to our weather tracker and discuss other tools that we use to measure different types of weather.
