Ms. Hansen, Literacy, Kindergarten

Course Description

In Kindergarten, literacy may look a little different than in most grades. Some of your children may not be able to read yet, while others in Kindergarten might, no matter what I am excited to help your child learn their letter sounds & names during this time. These are the two most basic steps for learning how to read. During literacy time, we will also work on handwriting. This is crucial to your child's independence at school- this is how they can write their name which gives them autonomy and authority over their work!
