Hello! This week in Language Arts, we will be reviewing the elements of a story and then practice writing our own story. 

Hello! This week in Language Arts we are working on our persuasive essay and our book project. They will have all of this week to work on their essay and project.

Hello, this week we are working on our small group books. Through this we will be answering comprehension questions. We are also going to be finishing up our opinion paper writing.  

Hello! This week in Languages we are working on our opinion paper while answering comprehension questions for our books. I will be meeting with each book, on certain days of the week. Fridays small group will meet also on Thursday, due to not having school Friday, November 11. 

Hello! This week in Language Arts we are starting our persuasive writing unit. We will be focusing on each element of persuasive writing each day. We are also starting small group books. Students will have a chance to pick one out of five books to read and answering comprehension questions.

Hello. This week we are going over story mountains. The students will then have an opportunity to apply it to a story.

Hello. I am so excited to be teaching 5th Grade Language Arts this year. This week we are focusing on tall tale. Through learning about Tall Tales, the students will work on writing their own tall tale.
