These close reads help build annotating skills, as well as organizing their keynotes. While also informing them on the given topics. When given time we will also watch the documentary episodes 'Fresh Water' and 'Frozen Worlds' on Our Planet to give a visual on the topics we are learning.

Ms. M. Science Week of April 10

We are wrapping up the Suns and Stars. They will do a vocab pamphlet on stars. They also have 'The Life of a Star' summary activity. Our last lab and worksheet is on "Distance of the Sun'. They will finish with a 'Sun and Stars' quiz. Some of this may end up going into next week due to testing.

Ms. M. Science Week of March 27

Science classes this week will begin the unit 'Lights and Shadows'.
 
They will be shown the PowerPoint on shadows and do an outside lab the next day. As well as a close reading on the sun and a vocab graphic organizer.
