Identify the different layers of the Earth Outline the characteristics of each of Earth's layers 

Wednesday: Trash cleanup day!!!  

Thursday: Lesson 3: Earth’s Systems  

Identify the four spheres/systems on Earth Analyze how the four systems interact 

Friday: Lesson 4: tectonic plates  

Week of 8/15

Last week in Science we talked about weathering, erosion, and deposition. This week we will continue to talk about these things and start going to natural disasters and how they affect us and the Earth around us. We will also be discussing how these disasters occur. 
 
~Reminder to fill out the permission slip for your student to be able to cleanup Washington Street with us~ 
 
Monday:  Review weathering, erosion, and deposition. Start talking about natural disasters and how they occur 
Tuesday: Go into detail on earthquakes, volcanoes, and hurricanes and how they affect the Earth and us 
Wednesday: Go into detail on floods, wildfires, and landslides and how they affect the Earth and us
Thursday: Meet the animals with Ms. Charlie
Friday: Go into details about tsunamis and avalanches and how they affect the Earth and us
