This week in Literacy, we will be finishing up our Oswald unit and move into our first Super animal, Golly the dog! Every year, Golly is always our favorite one! 

 

It is time for Superkids portal! You should have received an email from Superkids to access the Superkids portal. This link is only good for about 20 days, so act now! (USUALLY THE LINK GOES TO SPAM OR JUNK SO PLEASE CHECK THERE BEFORE YOU EMAIL ME). If you have checked junk and spam folders, and still don't see the link, please email me and I will try to resend the invite to you. 

 

Once you click the link and get your account set up, your child can log in and play Superkids games, and also read our Superkids books. Right now there are only 4 games and 2 books. As we continue to learn more and more, it will unlock more games and books to read!

Hello Literacy class! 

 

Hopefully you recieved a sheet of paper in your child’s Friday folder that says that your child is in my literacy class! We will begin switching to our literacy classes on Monday for the entire literacy block. If you want to hear more about the standards that I teach and how my class runs, come to curriculum night on August 30th. Kindergarten will be presenting from 6-7pm. Start in your child’s home room and after 20 minutes you can head over to my room!
