Students are working on writing their personal narratives. Students have been drafting, editing, revising, and now are writing their final drafts.  I have posted a review of videos that explain the expectations of a personal narrative.  

 

In reading, we have started reading the book Hatchet by Gary Paulson. We will be exploring the elements of fiction, figurative language, and general analysis of a the novel as they read.

This week we will be continuing to discuss the different elements of fiction. We will also be working on writing our own Personal Narratives. Students will be working on writing multi paragraph narratives and essays this year.  I have attached a video that discusses personal narratives.
