Staff Profile

My name is Logan Hopson, I'm the music teacher, and this is my 8th year at Westgate. I received my Associates' degree from Amarillo College and finished my BA at CU-Boulder. My wife, Kirsten, and I are from Texas, but have lived in Colorado for 10 years now. I'm so excited for what this year will bring! I'm always available for questions/comments, just feel free to email me.

It's time for the 7/8 and HS Music concert!
 
When: Monday, March 18th at 6:00 PM
Where: Westgate Community School in the HS pod
Wear: Students should wear clothes w/o holes or words on shirts-no hoodies
 
Everyone is invited and it's free!

Concert this Tuesday, December 18th!
 
Come enjoy the amazing sounds of the 7/8 and HS Music Club bands.  Admission is free!
 
Time: 6:00 PM
Where: Westgate High School community space
Length: less than 1 hour

7/8 Rock Band

"Beat It" is coming along nicely.  
 
We just started "Eye of the Tiger" and next week we will start with "Radioactive".
