In my professional life, I earned a Bachelors in History from University of Colorado at Denver and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Gifted Education from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. I hold licensure for K-6 Elementary Education, 7-12 Social Studies Education and K-12 Gifted Education. I have been at Westgate for 14 years now, holding many different roles, and I continue to love this school, its people and its mission and vision. Growth is a core desire of mine and helping others to grow is my passion. I love being with the staff and students of Westgate and doing everything that I can to help them reach their full potential while I strive to reach mine as well.
I have two grown children who are my whole heart and are creating beautiful lives of their own now, a loving partner to share my life with, as well as three amazing dogs who bring me a lot of joy. In my spare time, I ride my own Harley and love to walk, read, build with Lego, and work on jigsaw puzzles.
