Ms. Michielli

Hi! I’m Ms. Michielli, and I’m excited to be starting my second-year teaching 3rd grade at Westgate Community School and my sixth year as an elementary teacher. I truly love teaching 3rd grade and can’t wait to welcome another group of students for a year full of learning, laughter, and memorable moments.

I graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Elementary Education before trading the Pacific Northwest for the Mile High City. I quickly fell in love with Colorado and am so thankful to be part of the Westgate community.

Outside of school, I love traveling—especially anywhere with a beach! Fall is my favorite season, so you'll usually find me watching football, baking (or eating!) something delicious, or enjoying cozy sweaters and crisp weather. I also love crafting with friends, hosting movie nights, cooking with my fiancé, and spending time with my dachshund, Limousine.

One of my favorite things about teaching is seeing students grow in confidence throughout the year. I'm especially looking forward to sharing some of my favorite read-alouds, filling our writing notebooks with creative stories, tackling our Night of the Notables project, and making lasting memories on our field trips. I can't wait for another fantastic year at Westgate!
