Dewar's Social Studies- 5/18- 5/22

Assignments in Moby Max: (anticipate spending 20-30 minutes per day working)

I will be going back and reassigning anything that students did not pass for Economics in Social Studies. If you don't see some or all of these three assignments for the week, don't panic it is because I am reassigning previous work.

  • Please look over due dates for the quarter!
  • Requirements and rubrics are on OneNote
  • This week is the end of the Southwest region of Native American Indians
  • Thursday thing- Project Based Learning time! 
    • Driving Question: How can we use data to tell a local story that will inform and motivate community members to action?
    • Final Product: Students produce and present a TED talk-style presentation, that tells a compelling data-based story about a high-needs community issue that needs attention. 
    • Last week we continued investigating if someone has already proposed our possible solution
    • This week finalize our possible solution and start writing our script for our TED Talks
