Good format for students:

  1. Intro to 20 time
  2. Why you chose this topic?
  • What did you do during your 20 time?
  1. What did you learn?
  2. What are your takeaways/ reflections?

Students will have their blog up on screen to scroll through and help guide them as they talk. They should not play a full podcast, or PSA however during their talk, they should instead reference and talk about these things adding reflection and analysis.

1. Complete reading their choice refugee novel 
2. Finish their bookmark for the novel (Due next Monday)
3. Work on their refugee short story
4. Create a podcast for their 20time

Weekly Update 4/22

This week in ELA...
Students will read 1/2 (approx.) of their choice refugee themed novel and complete a bookmark assignment for part 1. 
They also have a 3rd blog post due Friday (the requirements for this are posted on their OneNote). This is a 10 picture post.

This week in ELA students will...
-Begin their new book clubs and begin reading Refugee themed novels
-Finish up Blog Post #2 on their 20 time project which involves research on their topic.

Pick their quarter 4 reading book groups

Paint two rocks with the theme of both I Am Alfonso Jones and March
Start the introduction to their big project.
