Advocacy - Mrs. Cundari

Course Description

Advocacy is our home base at school.  We spend time really getting to know each other and working on skills that are useful across the content areas.  We focus on habits of successful learners and social/emotional skills.  My goal is for my advocacy students to all feel like they have an adult in the building they can trust.  If they are struggling to advocate for themselves with another student or another teacher, they can come to me for support in handling the situation.  I am also a resource for parents with any school related questions or concerns.  If I can't answer I question right away, I will find answers or point you to the appropriate contact person.

Redesigning our space: Westgate is working toward redesigning our interior spaces over the next year or two, and we want student input!  They will take a survey in advocacy on Monday to share their opinions.  Students who are absent on Monday are invited to use the link on this page to take the survey from home so their opinions are still "heard."
